CheckLoop › Checklists › Security patrol
Gate locked, fire exit clear, alarm set: on patrol, what counts is that every checkpoint gets checked and every incident gets written down. This checklist takes guards from the start of the shift to the handover, on paper or on the duty phone.
26 checkpoints in five areas. Each one is either OK ✓ or an incident ✗.
This list is a starting point, not a verified template. It may contain errors or gaps. Review it and add what your site needs before you use it.
Site, date, time, name: ________________________________
The client wants to know that things were checked, not just that someone was there.
Fixed checkpoints, changing times. Set the checkpoints and their order once for each site. The times of the patrols, on the other hand, should vary so nobody can predict them.
Record incidents on the spot. An open door at 2:15 am is only worth as much in the morning report as the detail it is written down with: location, time, photo and what was done.
Safe when working alone. A guard patrolling alone should be able to call for help at any time. That is why testing the connection to the control room comes first. Which lone-worker measures apply to you is set by your assignment instructions and employer.
Not legal advice. Your assignment instructions and the client's requirements take precedence.
On the duty phone, even in a basement with no signal, and the report is with the client by morning.
Yes/No — every checkpoint gets an answer
If/Else — report an incident and the list asks for details (Pro)
Photo — capture damage and open doors (Pro)
Input field — note the time and what you saw (Pro)
Set up the checkpoints in walking order, with the client's instructions. One template for each site.
Every checkpoint gets an answer, incidents get a photo. Without signal, everything is saved and synced later.
Every patrol is saved as a record (Pro, beta) and goes to the supervisor or client as a PDF with photos.
Site, date, time and name, the checkpoints with their result, every incident with location and time, and what was done about it, for example who was informed.
That is set out in the contract with the client. Several patrols per night at varying times are common, so nobody can predict them.
No. CheckLoop has no NFC or barcode checkpoints that prove where someone was and when. It records what was checked and what was found. If your client requires electronic checkpoints, CheckLoop complements that system rather than replacing it.
Yes. The lists are stored on the device, so guards can tick off checkpoints in the basement or the underground car park. CheckLoop syncs as soon as there is a connection again.
